Golden Hawks Booster Club

The Golden Hawks Club is the official Athletic Booster Club of Holly Springs High School and is recognized as a 501(c)3 Non-Profit organization formed under and by virtue of the laws of the State of North Carolina, as contained in Chapter 55A of the General Statues of North Carolina entitled Non Profit Incorporation Act, as amended.

The Booster Club exists to encourage and celebrate student athlete success across academics, athletics, and a wide range of extracurricular activities. We are committed to fostering a spirit of school pride, building strong partnerships between students, families, educators, and the community, and creating opportunities for meaningful involvement in Golden Hawks athletics. Through sponsorship, fundraising efforts, volunteer support, and financial assistance, we strive to ensure that Holly Springs High School athletics and its athletes have the resources, facilities, encouragement and support needed to compete, grow and thrive.

Golden Hawks Booster Club membership isn’t just a pass to games — it’s one of the most impactful ways a family can directly strengthen Holly Springs High School athletics while saving money over the course of the year. 

A Booster Club Sports Pass gives your family unlimited access to regular‑season home games across all 27 sports, and every dollar from membership fees goes straight back into equipment, facilities, coaching support, and athlete experience. Families who attend even a modest number of events easily break even — and everything after that is pure savings. 

*Note - Endowment games, special tournaments, and conference/regional/state playoffs or tournaments are excluded.

The Golden Hawks Booster Club plays a vital role in sustaining and elevating Holly Springs High School athletics. Each year, our athletic department operates on a budget in excess of $300,000+, yet the Wake County Public School System provides only a fraction of that amount to our athletic department. The gap between what our athletes need and what the district funds is significant — and that gap is filled entirely through private and corporate support.

Our mission is to promote and encourage academic excellence, extracurricular athletic participation, community engagement, and maximum student involvement. We provide financial aid to sports programs, equipment upgrades, safety gear, technology, facilities improvements, and educational enhancements that directly benefit Holly Springs High School students.

In return, your business receives high‑value visibility and brand exposure to thousands of students, families, alumni, and visiting teams throughout the year. With more than 150 home athletic events annually, sponsors gain consistent recognition across the greater Holly Springs community.

Volunteer Opportunities will be posted here throughout the year, and we encourage all Golden Hawks families to get involved. Our athletic program depends on the time, energy, and dedication of parents and students who help run concessions, support special events, and lead or assist with various committees.

Volunteering is not just helpful — it is vital to the success of our athletics program.  

Here’s why:

• Operational support — Concessions, ticketing, event setup, and cleanup all rely on volunteers. Without this help, the school would need to pay staff, reducing funds available for athletes.

• Financial impact — Aramark concessions at NC State is one of the largest fundraising sources for the Booster Club. Every volunteer shift directly increases the dollars that go back to our teams.

• Community building — When families volunteer, it strengthens school spirit, creates connections, and builds a supportive environment for student‑athletes.

• Student leadership — Student volunteers gain service hours, leadership experience, and a deeper sense of pride in their school.

• Program enhancement — Committee work helps shape fundraising events, spirit wear, sponsorship outreach, and long‑term athletic improvements.
